2026 Emmys BLACK SHUTOUT: Zendaya, Quinta Brunson & More Snubbed?!

The 2026 Emmys are over — and not a SINGLE Black winner took home a trophy. Zendaya, Quinta Brunson, Colman Domingo, Tyler James Williams… all nominated, all snubbed.

History Denied

Zendaya could’ve been the first Black woman to win Lead Actress in a Drama THREE times. Quinta Brunson could’ve made history twice in one night — Lead Actress in a Comedy AND Writing. Instead? Nothing.

Colman Domingo and Tyler James Williams were both up for Supporting Actor in a Comedy. The drought continues.

The Numbers Are Going Backwards

Here’s what’s really alarming: only 17 performers of color were even nominated this year. That’s down from 28 last year and 49 in 2021. The numbers are going BACKWARDS.

Things that make ya say hmmm… 🤔
